Shutki Chingri Diye Ol Makha Recipe/ Elephant foot yam Recipe with dry prawns

The ingredients required are
- Dry prawns/ shutki chingri-1 cup
- Whole red chilies-6
- Elephant foot yam( cut into 4 pieces)-300 gm
- Onion ( cut into slices)-2
- Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tbsp
- Green chili(silted)-2
- Lemon -1
- Mustard oil-2 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves-2 tbsp
- Salt
How to make Shutki Chingri Diye Ol Makha Recipe/ Elephant foot yam Recipe with dry prawns
Wash the dry prawns and allow them to soak in hot water for 15 minutes
After 15 minutes, strain them, and keep them aside
Take the whole red chili and allow them to soak in water for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes, put them in a blender jar and make a coarse paste and keep them aside
Clean and wash the elephant foot yam and cut it into 4-5 pieces and put them in a pressure cooker, and go for 1 whistle
Open the pressure and check how nicely it has been boiled
Heat oil in a pan and add the onions and fry them for 2 minutes, then add the soaked dry prawns and fry them for 2 minutes
Now add ginger-garlic paste and fry them for another 2 minutes
Add all the spices ( turmeric powder, garam masala, and cumin powder) and stir them for a minute
Now add the red chili paste and stir them well until the raw smell of the spices goes off
Add the boiled elephant foot yam, and mix and mash them well
Squize ½ lemon over it, add silted green chili, and add chopped coriander leaves; mash them well; transfer them to a serving plate, and serve hot with hot piping rice.
