Healthy Apple Juice / Apple Juice with Chia Seeds
Today I will share a very healthy recipe i.e. how to make Healthy Apple Juice / Apple Juice with Chia Seeds. Everybody knows about the benefits of apples, but adding chia seeds to apple juice is a bonus for our health. It is an excellent source of antioxidants, which helps to prevent cancer; it helps to reduce weight loss, having bone nutrients .i.e calcium, magnesium, and Phosphorus. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber, which helps to prevent heart disease. And lastly, it is very easy to incorporate into our diet.
Equipment used
- Blender
- Mixing bowl
- Strainer
- Glasses
Ingredients
- Apple -3(medium size)
- Chia seed-1 tbsp
- Sugar (optional)-1 tbsp
- Water-2 cups
How to make Healthy Apple Juice / Apple Juice with Chia Seeds
- Take 3 washed apples, and peel them (you can take them with skin also because the fiber you will be losing otherwise)
- Cut them into small sizes, and keep them in a mixing bowl.
- Now transfer them to a blending jar
- Add sugar and water ( sugar is optional, and for diabetic patients, it is strongly advisable not to add sugar)
- And make a thick apple paste and keep it aside
- Now in a mixing bowl add 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Then add 1/4th cup of water and let them soak for 5 minutes.
- Now place a strainer over a mixing bowl, then pour the apple paste and strain them nicely
- Your apple juice is ready
- Now divide the chia seeds mixture into the two glasses
- Pour the apple juice into both glasses and serve at room temperature or add some ice cubes and serve
