Chuno Macher Fish Finger /Fish finger Recipe with small fish
Today I will share a very unique recipe which is Chuno Macher Fish Finger /Fish finger Recipe with small fish, which will be a mouth-watering dish and surely it would be loved by all fish lovers.
Equipment required
- Kadai
- Spatula
- Mixing bowl
- Griddle/tawa
Ingredients
- Chuno mach/Small fish-350 gm
- Bread slice-1
- Corn starch-2 tbsp
- Egg-1
- Bread crums-1 cup
- Ginger-garlic paste
- Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
- Red chili paste-1 tbsp
- Garam masala-1/4 tbsp
- Raw mango powder-1/2 tbsp
- Roasted cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
- Oil-2 cups
- Salt to taste
Preparation of Chuno Macher Fish Finger /Fish finger Recipe with small fish
- Clean and wash the small fish thoroughly
- Add turmeric powder and salt, rub them well, and keep them aside for 15 minutes
- Heat oil in a griddle/tawa, and let it come to a smoky point (otherwise while frying the fish it will stick with the pan)
- Slowly drop the fish in the tawa
- Stir them slowly
- Toss them frequently
- Fry them till the color changes to dark yellow or light brown
- Take them out from the tawa and keep them in a mixing bowl
- Now add a bread slice dipped in water to the mixing bowl
- Add ginger-garlic paste
- Now add the spices. i.e. turmeric, red chili, garam masala, and raw mango powder
- Add roasted cumin powder and salt
- Now mix them to make a smooth dough with the help of your finger
- Divide the mixture equally and make 6-7 oblong shaped like fingers with the help of your fingers
- Now take an egg and beat it nicely
- Now dip all the oblong shaped cutlets in the beaten egg and coat them in bread crumbs
- Heat oil in a Kadai and fry all the fish fingers in 2-3 stages
- Take them out from the oil and keep them on a kitchen paper
- Serve hot with red and green chutney
