Chingri Borboti bhaja/Prawn Long Bean Stir Fry
Prawn Long Bean Stir Fry in a wok with potatoes is a very simple healthy and fast recipe. As it has been fried in a high flame, so it becomes crunchy, and the Julian ginger gives an extra flavor.
The equipment required
- Wok
- Mixing bowl
- Sharp knife
Ingredients for prawn Bean fry
- Prawn-12-15 medium size
- Potato-1(cut in very small pieces)
- Long bean/Borboti-200 gm (cut in half-inch long horizontally)
- Oil-3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder
- Ginger-1 inch long (cut in Julian shape)
- Tomato-1 (chopped)
- Green chilies-2(silted)
- Peppercorn powder-1/2 tbsp
- Chili flakes-1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
How to make Prawn Long Bean Stir Fry
Wash and clean the prawns, rub with turmeric powder and salt and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Cut potato and long beans into small pieces.
Take a wok or griddle, and heat 2 tbsp oil
Add all the marinated prawns in high flame, so continuously you have to toss them.
Fry it, till the color changes to dark yellow than light brown
Transfer it to a plate for further use.
Add 1 tbsp oil in the same wok in high flame
Add the finely cut potatoes and toss them fast, otherwise, they will burn in high flame.

And then add the long beans, by keeping the potatoes on a side of the griddle.
After frying the beans, add them to the potatoes and add tomatoes
Then add the silted green chilies
Add peppercorn powder
Now add the salt and chili flakes.
Toss them very fast, as the flame is high, throughout the cooking process.
Now add the fried prawns and toss them fast
Add Julian ginger, which gives a very nice flavor.
And now transfer them to a serving plate, and serve hot.
