Make Aloo Paratha in Different Styles
In the first version, we will make it in a normal way in which the maximum people are preparing
In a mixing bowl add boiled potato and chop the onion
Grate the boiled potatoes
Chop the green chilis
Grate the ginger
Add red chili and roasted cumin powder
Mix them well.
In a mixing bowl take wheat flour and add ½ tbsp oil, a pinch of salt, and red chili powder.
Make dough
Then take the dough and with the help of your palm make it a small bowl-type shape
Put the fillings ( potato onion) with the help of a spoon and slowly seal it with the help of your fingers.
Then make it a flat 6-inch diameter circle, with the help of a rolling pin, and put it in hot tawa/griddle
Apply ghee with the help of a kitchen brush
Turn it over to another side and apply ghee
Your paratha becomes very soft
In the second version, we will make it in a triangular shape
Flatten a small portion of the dough in a 6-inch diameter circle like earlier.
And put fillings only the ¼ portion of the circle, and in more quantity
Then make it the first fold and make a half-circle shape
Again fold it 2nd time and make a triangular shape, such that it covers the filings.
Now with the help of a rolling pin flatten it to make a big triangle, and put it in the hot tawa.
And the same way applies ghee on both sides and makes the triangular-shaped paratha.
See how the paratha becomes soft and fillings are available on all sides.
Now the third version, the easiest way
Add ½ cup wheat flour to the potato-onion mixture, add 1 cup of water to it, and make a batter like dosa batter.
Heat a griddle/tawa, and grease it with ghee with the help of a kitchen brush
Pour 1/4th cup of batter, spread it all around the tawa, and make a circle.
Turn it over to the other side, and fry both sides.
Once over, then take it out from the tawa, and serve hot with curd or raita.
