Healthy Jamun (Java plum or Indian blackberry) Juice and Jamun Seeds powder for diabetes: Manage your blood sugar
Today I will share step-by-step a very healthy and also medicine for diabetes. i.e. how to make Jamun Juice and Seeds Powder at home. It is so easy to make, even without any ingredients, except jamun.
What is Jamun: Commonly known as Java plum or Indian blackberry in English, Jamun or Jambul called in Hindi, Jambufalam or Mahaphala in Sanskrit, Naavar Pazham known in Tamil and Neredu in Telugu.
Jamun is a tall tree with big trunks shown in the Indian sub-continent but it is found in various Asian countries. The tree bears oblong-shaped fruits– which are green when raw but turn pink or purple as they ripen.
Jamun is effective in controlling high blood sugar levels. Apart from the fruit, extracts from the seeds, are also useful for reducing the high blood sugar levels in your body.
The types of equipment used to make jamun juice and seeds powder are
Blender
Strainer
Bowls
Glasses
The ingredients required for this recipe are
Jamun: While buying jamun, you should keep in your mind, that the fruit should neither be too soft nor be too hard to take, and the color must be purple( not pink)
Black salt to taste
Black Pepper powder to enhance the taste
Sugar (optional): Sugar is totally optional, as this fruit is used for medicinal purposes; adding sugar it will destroy the very purpose of this fruit juice. But the person, who doesn’t have diabetes, can add sugar.
Ice cubes: It is also optional, as the temperature crossed 40 degrees C, I used it to reduce the temperature of the juice, but if you can, you can take it without ice cubes.
