How To Make Ring Paratha/Lachha paratha/Layered Paratha
Today I will share a step-by-step How To Make Ring Paratha/Lachha paratha/Layered Paratha Which is very simple and easy to prepare? You can have curd or curry with this. Paratha is such type of recipe that you can prepare with wide varieties. Layered flatbreads are very common in Indian recipes, layering the dough is used to make lachha paratha, Kerala paratha, or Malabar paratha. In this layer you can use different spices or herbs and make different flavors masala/ spicy paratha. In layer you can use oil, but it is better to use ghee or butter, which gives your paratha a rich flavor.
Equipment needed
A griddle
Rolling pin and board
Mixing bowl
Ingredients
All-purpose flour/Wheat flour-250 gm
Water
Melted butter/ghee/oil
Salt
How To Make Ring Paratha/Lachha Paratha/Layered Paratha
Take 250 gm flour, 1 tbsp oil or ghee, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Mix well, add water in stages, knead to a smooth dough, and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
Make it (dough) a cylindrical shape by rolling
And divide it into five equal parts and make five balls.
Take each ball and flatten them into a 6″ diameter disc, with the help of a rolling pin.
Apply some melted ghee or oil and spread evenly with the help of a kitchen brush.
Sprinkle some flour over it and spread evenly.
Now carefully Pleat the dough from the opposite side.
Now stretch it little
Slowly roll the pleated dough and make a disc.
Same way make all the other doughs
Now sprinkle some flour over the rolling board and take a dough/disk
And make a 5-6 inch diameter circle/roti shape with the help of a rolling pin
Place it on a hot griddle and roast from both sides
Apply ghee or oil in both sides with the help of a brush
The nice light brown color will come and the same way makes the other paratha.
Now serve hot with raita and curry
