Ingredients
One cup soaked red lentil/masoor dal
Onion -01(chopped)
Garlic- 5-6 cloves
Green chili-2-3 silted
Mustard oil –two tea spoon
Salt to taste
How to make masoor dal bhapa/steamed red lentil
Wash masoor dal and soak for one hour
Take a blender and add dal, green chili, garlic, and salt and make a smooth paste.
Now pour this paste into a steel Tiffin box with a tight cover and mix it with onion add green chili,sprinkle mustard oil over it.
Now after adding and mixing the paste, close the box and put it in a pressure cooker or any deep vessel after keeping a stand, add 2 cup water in the vessel and close the lid.
Let it allow to cook for 20 minutes or if in a pressure cooker, just give one whistle, and wait to release the pressure.
Take it out from the vessel and open the box garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice and fish curry.
