Today I will share step-by-step a very nutritious recipe especially during summer i.e. how to Make Healthy Ragi Ambli which is a summer cooler also. It needs only 5 minutes to be prepared; it is high in calcium, protein, iron & fiber. And countless other health benefits too.
Equipment required
- Mixing bowl
- Whisker
- Pan
- Glasses
Ingredients
- Ragi / finger millet-1/2 cup
- Curd/Buttermilk-1/2 cup
- Chopped onion-2 tbsp
- Chopped mint-2 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves-2 tbsp
- Chopped green chili-1 tbsp Salt to taste
How to Make Healthy Ragi Ambli Healthy Ragi Ambli / Ragi Ambali (Summer Cooler)/ Finger Millet Drink
Take a mixing bowl, and then add ½ cup of ragi and 2 cups of water
With the help of a whisker, mix the ragi with water in such a way that there should be not any lumps
Now heat 2 cups of water in a pan, and add salt to taste
Slowly add the ragi mixture into the hot water and stir them continuously, otherwise, they will stick to the pan
When the mixture’s consistency becomes thick, they take it out from the heat and allow them to cool at room temperature.
Now add the buttermilk and mix well
Add chopped onion, mint leaves, green chili, and coriander leaves
Now mix well with all the ingredients
Take a glass, and slowly pour the ragi mixture into the glass
Top up with chopped onion and garnish with mint leaves.
