Egg dumpling with chicken keema/ Egg-wrapper dumplings
Today I will share step by step How to Make Egg dumplings. Chinese Egg dumpling with chicken keema is a super tasty evening snack, which goes well with spicy momo sauce. They are made by small omelet wrapping keema (mutton, pork, or chicken) filling with onion and other spices. Here I have taken chicken and cut it into small pieces to make keema/mince.
Equipment needed
- Pan/ wok
- Mixing bow
- Spatula
Ingredients
Egg Mixture for wrapping
- Eggs-2
- Corn flour-1/4th cup
- Salt to taste
Filling
- Chicken-100 gm
- Oil-2 tbsp
- Milk-2 tbsp
- Chopped onion-1/2 cup
- 2 green chilies chopped
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
- Red chili powder-1/2 tbsp
- Cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
How to Make Egg Dumpling with chicken keema/ Egg-wrapper dumplings
Take 100 gm of fresh chicken, and mince it with the help of a sharp knife
Heat oil in a concave griddle/Tawa, and add the chicken mince, chopped onions, and chopped green chilies.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté them
Now add the spices; turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, and cumin powder and sauté them on high flame for 3-4 minutes.
Now the filling is cooked
Transfer them to a plate and keep aside
In a big mixing bowl take corn flour
Add 2 eggs
Add ½ tbsp salt
Whisk them well
Now add little milk to make the required consistency and mix them well
Now grease oil in a griddle
Pour a small portion of batter into the griddle in low heat
Place a small portion of keema mixed /mince in the center of the omelet
And fold it, with the help of a chopstick
Fry it on both the sides
Same way make all the dumplings
Transfer them to a serving plate and serve hot with momo sauce
