- Gobindobhog rice-1/3rd cup
- Milk-750 ml
- Sugar-1/4th cup
- Cardamom whole-02
- A pinch of cardamom powder
- 8-9 strands of saffron (soaked in milk)
- Few dry fruits

- First soak Gobindobhog rice for an hour.
- Discard the water and grind rice to course a paste and keep aside.
- Take a hard bottomed pan and boil the milk, stir in between to avoid the burning smell.
- Now add the course rice paste and Stir continuously for 5-6 minutes to avoid forming lumps.
- Simmer it for another 8-10 minutes to boil the rice completely, stirring in between.
- Now add the sugar and saffron milk.
- Mix it well till the consistency of the milk becomes thick.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.
- Take it out from the flame and allow it to cool in room temperature.
- Garnish with dry fruits and serve it.
