Today I will share How to make Bhola-Bhetki curry / Bhola-Bhetki macher kalia, which is really delicious. This is the first time I prepared and tested this fish, and it’s super tasty. Please go for it. Its flesh is so juicy that you’ll be tempted to lick its single throne clean. Bhola-Bhetki can be consumed as fry, curry, and fillet paturi (fillets are rubbed with spices and then wrapped in banana leaves and tied with the threads, and then steamed)

The marinated Bhola-Bhetki fish is fried and then simmered in a thick gravy made with tomatoes, onions, garlic, and ginger and sometimes added with mustard paste finished in a warm, spicy, cumin, coriander flavored sauce
The types of equipment required for this recipe are
Blender
Fry pan /concave tawa/Griddle
Big Frypan

Ingredients required are
Bhola-Bhetki– For this recipe, the fish should be relatively more significant, where the weight of this fish is 300 gm
Mustard paste
Onion and tomato
Mustard oil
The other ingredients are ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder and red chili powder, and salt
Preparation: How to make Bhola-Bhetki curry / Bhola-Bhetki macher kalia
Clean and wash the fish well, then rub it with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside for 15 minutes to rest
Heat oil in a concave tawa, let it come to a smoky point, and gently place the fish; fry both sides well, and take it out from the oil
Take a big fry pan and heat oil and add the chopped onion, and stir them until they become translucent
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté them
Now add salt, turmeric, red chili, and coriander-cumin powder, and stir them until the raw smell goes off
Add chopped tomato and stir them for 20 seconds
Now add the mustard paste, with little water (by washing the bowl), and cook them for a minute
Gently drop the fried fish and mix it well with the gravy, and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, transfers them to a serving plate, and serve with hot rice.
