But one cannot take it as a raw, for its sour taste; you have to prepare it in such a way that it will give a better taste. And that is possible only by preparing Murabba. And for that only It is normally eaten in the form of Murabba. The Indian gooseberries are steamed and then simmered in a thick syrup made with Sugar and added with cardamom and finished in a tangy and cardamom flavored syrup, and this is How to make Amla Murabba.

- Indian gooseberries-350gm
- Sugar-350 gm
- Cardamom-2
How to make Amla Murabba
Wash and prick all the amla with the help of a fork (try to prick as much as you can, so that the sugar syrup will go inside it)
Take a momo maker steamer, add 1-liter water, and put the entire Indian gooseberry in it to steam for 15 minutes.
Cover the lid and wait for 15 minutes
Now you can open the cover, and see the gooseberries are steamed properly and become very soft.
Now put all the hot amla in a wok
Spread sugar over them.
And cover the lid for 5 minutes to melt the sugar without flame.
Now open the cover and see the sugar is half melted, and mix it slowly.
Now cover the lid and put it in simmer for 2-3 minutes
Open the lid and stir continuously the sugar syrup, otherwise it will burn.
Add two crushed cardamoms and mix them with the syrup
Now switch off the flame.
And check the consistency of the syrup, which is coming thread-like consistency.
Transfer them into a glass jar to preserve
