The GI(glycemic index) of brown rice is little bit lower than normal white rice, so diabetic patients are advised by the Doctor to take brown rice instead of white rice. But the taste of brown rice is not same as white rice, so many people don’t like brown rice for it’s nutty flavor. Healthy one pot brown rice is nothing but mixture of dal ,flux seeds and brown rice in a pressure cooker cooked and slowly places an egg over the brown rice to make a poach over it.
