Today I will share how to make Chingri Maach Diye Kathal er Bichi Recipe / Prawn Curry with Jackfruit Seeds, which is a very delectable dish and goes well with rice or roti. As the jackfruit seeds have nutty flavored, they can be put in any type of recipe, which enhances the flavor of the dish.
In this recipe, the size of the Chingri Maach /prawns should be small (almost equal size of the seeds), so that it can be combined well with the seeds. And you must boil the seeds before using them in the curry.

The ingredients required for the recipe are
Prawn/chingri maach; Better to choose a small one for this recipe
Jackfruit seeds/kathal er bichi
Coconut
Ginger
Onion
Oil; You can use any type of cooking oil
Other ingredients are curry leaves, whole red chili, Turmeric powder, cumin seeds, Red chili powder, salt, Cumin-coriander powder
Preparation; How to make Chingri Maach Diye Kathal er Bichi Recipe / Prawn Curry with Jackfruit Seeds
Wash the seeds thoroughly, put them in a pressure cooker, and go for one whistle; once done, then cut them into two halves, and keep them aside
Now clean and wash the prawns/ chingri maach, rub them with salt and turmeric powder, and then fry them, and keep them aside
Dry roast the coconut slices and red whole chili; allow them to cool down at room temperature, and put them in a blender along with ginger and make a paste
Heat oil in a pan/kadai, add cumin seeds and curry leaves for tempering
As they splutter and sizzle, add the chopped onion and stir them until they become translucent
Now add turmeric powder, salt, red chili, and cumin-coriander powder and stir them until the raw smell of the spices goes off
Add the boiled jackfruit seeds and mix them well
Add the coconut and red chili powder with little water(washing the jar)
Now add the fried prawns, and mix them well, and cook them for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
Turn off the flame, and add chopped curry leaves
Transfer them to a serving bowl and serve with rice or roti.
