Jackfruit seeds
Kochu/Taro
Cooking oil
Garlic
Ginger paste
Other ingredients are Sugar, salt, whole red chili, Turmeric powder, cumin seeds, Red chili powder, ,coconut-red chili, and Cumin-coriander powder
How to make Boiled Jackfruit Seeds Curry Recipe / Kochu data diye kathal er bichi r Recipe
Wash the seeds and put them in a pressure cooker, add water, and go for 1 whistle
Meanwhile, cut the data (katwa data) into 1-inch size
Cut the taro/kochu in lengthwise; wash both of them thoroughly
Heat oil in a kadai, and then add garlic cloves and red chili
As they splutter and sizzle, add the curry-cut veggies, and sauté them for 20 seconds
Now add ginger paste and stir them for 10-15 seconds
Make ready all the spices (turmeric powder, red chili powder, and cumin-coriander powder) on a plate and add in the veggies, and stir them until the raw smell goes off
Now add the boiled jackfruit seeds (after taking out the skin), and mix them well
Add sugar, followed by roasted coconut-red chili powder, and mix them well
Add 2 cups of water, and allow them to cook for 5 minutes, on medium flame
Turn off the flame; sprinkle chopped coriander leaves
Transfer them to a serving plate and serve hot with rice.
