Besan Ladoo Recipe/ How to Make Besan Ki Ladoo
Today I will share step-by-step a dessert recipe that is Besan Ladoo Recipe/ How to Make Besan Ki Ladoo. Besan ladoo is a sweet ball made of roasted gram flour, sugar, and desi ghee/ clarified butter. With the use of just three main ingredients, you can make home one of the best sweets.
You will have to roast the gram flour in clarified butter /ghee well to make perfect besan ladoo. This is the only step of this recipe. Then you have to add powdered sugar, mogoj/ melon Seeds, and cashews and make small balls.
Equipment required
- Mixing bowl
- Hard bottomed pan
- Blender
- Spatula
Ingredients
- Besan/Gram flour-2 cups
- Sugar-1 cup
- Ghee/ clarified butter -3/4 cup
- Cardamom-2
- Mogoj/ melon Seeds and cashews-1/3rd cup
How to Make Besan Ki Ladoo/ Besan Ladoo Recipe
First, take 2 cups of besan and filter them through a sieve to get rid of any lumps
Take a blender jar, then add 1 cup of sugar and 2 cardamoms and make a fine powder
Now take a hard-bottomed pan and add ¾ cup ghee, heat it, and let it melt
Add the besan/gram flour and roast them by stirring them continuously until the color of the besan changes to light brown.
Now the pleasing aroma starts coming and the ghee is also coming up
Slowly take out the roasted gram flour from the pan
And now add the 1/3rd cup of cashew and mogoj mix in the same pan and dry roast them; if you want, add a little ghee.
Now add the roasted dry nuts to the roasted besan.
Add sugar powder and mix until all the sugar is absorbed.
Now allow the besan and sugar mixture to cool a little.( don’t cool completely, otherwise, you will not be able to make ladoo)
With the help of your finger and palm make the ladoo and allow them to cool and set.
Now once set, then you can serve them or preserve them for future use.
